Legalization of the Chinese Embassy

Legalization of the Chinese Embassy:
Embassy legalization refers to the activity of the embassy legalization agency confirming the authenticity of the last seal and signature on the domestic foreign-related notarial certificate, other certification documents or foreign-related documents based on the application of natural persons, legal persons or other organizations. The purpose of embassy legalization is to enable documents issued by one country to be recognized in other countries, and will not affect its extraterritorial legal effect due to doubts about the authenticity of the seals and signatures on the documents. The embassy legalization does not exercise the certification function for the matters certified by the notarial certificate or other certification documents, and is not responsible for the authenticity and legality of the content of the document itself. The content of the document is the responsibility of the document issuing agency.
The Convention will enter into force in China on November 7, 2023. It will be used by all contracting states of the Convention without the need for embassy legalization procedures. However, the original embassy legalization procedures are still used between China and non-contracting states of the Convention, and embassy legalization/embassy legalization is carried out as needed.
The countries that still need to legalize their embassies include: Cambodia, Cuba, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nigeria, Qatar, Thailand, Turkmenistan, UAE (United Arab Emirates), Vietnam, etc. (Please ask us for the full list of embassy legalization countries)
