Macao notarization/Apostille
Macao Notarization/Apostille:
As an international financial and trade center, Macao documents need to be notarized and certified in Macao when used between the mainland and the international community. Macao and Macao have joined the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement for Authentication of Foreign Public Documents. In 1997, China confirmed the validity of the convention for Macao, and in 1999 confirmed the validity of the convention for Macao. Therefore, the documents of Macao and Macao do not need diplomatic or consular authentication to smoothly communicate with other member states of the convention. These documents only need to be apostille stamped with the Hague Apostille seal by the issuing country's authorities to be valid in the destination country.
